Our Story

Kaena Elite Charters has been providing Sailing ventures in Honolulu for over 10 years. S/V Mamenchi Saurus is a beautiful 40 ft Sloop handcrafted in Japan, with our current Capt. at the Helm since 2018. Capt. Josh has been on boats his entire life and has recently completed a round-trip sail to San Diego and back aboard Mamenchi Saurus. Come spend some time with us and take in the breathtaking views of Waikiki Beach and Diamondhead. We can customize any tour to fit your exact needs and expectations. We are not a cookie cutter boat tour. 

Features

CHARTERS

Our most popular choice is the Private Custom Charter. You pick when and where we go and how long we stay out. We partner with caterers and event planners for special occasions and themed events. All of our standard cruises come with complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. We are BYOB friendly, and you are welcome to bring any food you would like. We will have a cooler full of ice, cups, plates and anything needed to accommodate your group.  Contact us below for custom add on's. 

Private Charter

Sunset Sailing Tour

2.5 Hours $500 6 Passengers

A two-and-a-half-hour cruise where we will set sail along iconic Waikiki Beach with stunning views of Diamond Head to take in the amazing Hawaiian sunset.

Custom Charter

2 Hour Minimum $200 p/hour 6 Passengers

With our custom Charter choice we provide the flexibility to our guests on charter length, departure time and itinerary. 2 hour minimum required.

Fireworks Sail

2.5 Hours $500 6 Passengers

Each Friday night, Waikiki puts on an amazing fireworks display. We will leave the dock and catch the sunset and do a twilight sail along the south shore before watching fireworks from a breathtaking vantage point

Captain Josh is INCREDIBLE!! We had the most beautiful sunset sail in Oahu. He set up music for us to listen to, provided a cooler for snacks and drinks, and really made us feel like celebs hehe. I cannot recommend Kaena Elite Charters enough!
